Palladium‐Catalyzed Direct Arylation of (Hetero)Arenes with Aryl Boronic Acids
Journal ArticleDOI
Indirect ortho functionalization of substituted toluenes through ortho olefination of N,N-dimethylbenzylamines tuned by the acidity of reaction conditions.
TL;DR: Mechanistic studies indicated that electrophilic attack on the phenyl ring by the Pd(II) ion assisted by the N,N-dimethylaminomethyl group was a key step during this catalytic transformation, which was controlled by the acidity of the reaction conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cross dehydrogenative arylation (CDA) of a benzylic C-H bond with arenes by iron catalysis.
TL;DR: Hooking up: FeCl(2) catalyzes the efficient cross dehydrogenative arylation of substrates having benzylic C-H bonds (see scheme).
Journal ArticleDOI
Cross‐Coupling of Aryl/Alkenyl Pivalates with Organozinc Reagents through Nickel‐Catalyzed CO Bond Activation under Mild Reaction Conditions
Journal ArticleDOI
Covalent linkage of the DNA repair template to the CRISPR-Cas9 nuclease enhances homology-directed repair.

TL;DR: It is shown that spatial and temporal co-localization of the donor template and Cas9 via covalent linkage increases the correction rates up to 24-fold, and that the effect is mainly caused by an increase of donor template concentration in the nucleus.
