Journal ArticleDOI

Reprogramming induced pluripotent stem cells in the absence of c-Myc for differentiation into hepatocyte-like cells.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that iPSCs without c-Myc had the capacity to differentiate into hepatocyte-like cells (iPSC-Heps) with biological functions and may prevent oxidative stress-induced damage and provide a safer alternative for hepatic regeneration in AHF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Musashi-1 promotes cancer stem cell properties of glioblastoma cells via upregulation of YTHDF1.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the expression of five YTH family proteins in different GBM microarray datasets from the Oncominedatabase, and identified YTHDF1 as the most highly overexpressed member of this family in GBM.
