Pseudo-isotherms for the sorption of cadmium ion onto tree fern

TL;DR: In this article, the kinetics of cadmium sorption on tree fern has been investigated based on the assumption of a pseudo-second order rate law, and the batch sorption model has been applied to predict the rate constant of sorption and the equilibrium capacity with the effect of initial Cadmium concentration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bibliometric analysis of homeopathy research during the period of 1991 to 2003

TL;DR: A bibliometric analysis of all homeopathy-related publications in Science Citation Index (SCI) for publications during the period of 1991 to 2003 found that English remains the dominant language, it comprised only 76%, while German contributed 18%, and the remaining where distributed among 8 European languages.
Journal ArticleDOI

Batch Lead(II) Removal From Aqueous Solution by Peat: Equilibrium and Kinetics

TL;DR: In this article, the sorption of lead ions onto peat has been studied and the equilibrium isotherms have been measured and modelled, and a pseudo-second order kinetic model has been proposed to correlate the experimental data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of temperatures and pH on methyl violet biosorption by Mansonia wood sawdust

TL;DR: Results suggested that the biosorption of methyl violet dye from aqueous solution using Mansonia wood sawdust was a spontaneous and endothermic process.
