Flow pattern and lift evolution of hydrofoil with control of electro-magnetic forces
TL;DR: In this paper, the initial responses and evolutions of the flow pattern and lift coefficient of a hydrofoil under the action of electro-magnetic (Lorentz) force have been studied experimentally and numerically, and trace particle methods are employed for them.

A One-Dimensional Discrete Boltzmann Model for Detonation and an Abnormal Detonation Phenomenon
Abstract: A one-dimensional discrete Boltzmann model for detonation simulation is presented. Instead of numerical solving Navier-Stokes equations, this model obtains the information of flow field through numerical solving specially discretized Boltzmann equation. Several classical benchmarks including Sod shock wave tube, Colella explosion problem, and one-dimensional self-sustainable stable detonation are simulated to validate the new model. Based on the new model, the influence of negative temperature coefficient of reaction rate on detonation is further investigated. It is found that an abnormal detonation with two wave heads periodically appears under negative temperature coefficient condition. The causes of the abnormal detonation are analyzed. One typical cycle of the periodic abnormal detonation and its development process are discussed.

Biomass enhances the reduction of oxidized pellets with carbon monoxide.
Dabin Guo,Baihui Cui,Zhihua Chen,Wangwang Yan,Bin Ji,Qi Zhang,Yuhuan Liu,Shiyi Luo,Mian Hu,Roger Ruan +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the reduction mechanism of using CO to reduce biomass-oxidized pellets (BOP) and generaloxidised pellets (GOP) was deeply analyzed and the effect of biomass addition on the reduction of oxidized pellets and the change of reduction kinetics were studied.

Emergence and rising of ceftazidime-avibactam resistant KPC-producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa in China: a molecular epidemiology study
Yi Zhu,Jun Chen,Shen H,Zhihua Chen,Yang Q,Zhu J,Li X,Zhao F,Jiansong Ji,Hongliu Cai,Yunze Li,Liang Zhang,Sebastian Leptihn,Sebastian Leptihn,Hua X,Yu Y +15 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the blaKPC-2 gene is becoming a remarkable mediator of carbapenem resistance in P. aeruginosa in China as CAZ-AVI becomes inefficient and it would be beneficial to screen for the blAKPC gene in CRPA strains for antimicrobial surveillance.
