On the Arbitrary-Length $M$ -Channel Linear Phase Perfect Reconstruction Filter Banks

TL;DR: This correspondence extends the theory and lattice factorizations for M-channel linear phase perfect reconstruction filter banks (LPPRFBs) to deal with FIR FBs with real-valued filter coefficients in which all filters have the same arbitrary length L = KM + beta (0 les beta < M) and same symmetry center.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

On the asynchronously continuous control of mobile robot movement by motor cortical spiking activity.

TL;DR: Experimental results on the nonhuman primate showed that the overt movement directions were stably represented in ensemble of recorded units, and the SVM classifier could successfully decode such movements continuously along the desired movement path.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

On M-Channel Linear Phase Perfect Reconstruction Filter Banks with Arbitrary Filter Length

TL;DR: This paper introduces the lattice factorizations and designs of a large class of linear phase perfect reconstruction filter banks with real-valued coefficients in which all filters have the same arbitrary length and symmetry center.
Journal ArticleDOI

Frame-Theoretic Analysis of Robust Filter Bank Frames to Quantization and Erasures

TL;DR: The theoretic analysis for the robustness of filter bank (FB) frames in infinite dimensional Hilbert space l2(\BBZ) to quantization and erasures as well as studies the design of such robust frames, from the perspective of both frame and FB theory are presented.
