Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a broad-spectrum monoclonal antibody-based indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the multi-residue detection of avermectins in edible animal tissues and milk.

TL;DR: An indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ic-ELISA) was applied to monitor ivermectin in the milk samples, and the results showed a good correlation with that of HPLC-MS/MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of a generic monoclonal antibody and development of a highly sensitive indirect competitive ELISA for the detection of phenothiazines in animal feed.

TL;DR: A positive correlation (r>0.9249) between the results of the ic-ELISA and the high-performance liquid chromatography were observed, which indicated that the developed ic- ELISA is reliable and can be used to monitor phenothiazines in animal feed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The metabolism and N-oxide reduction of olaquindox in liver preparations of rats, pigs and chicken.

TL;DR: The metabolism and N-oxide reduction of olaquindox incubated with liver microsomes and liver cytosol of rats, pigs and chicken are presented, suggesting that the N1-reduction and N4-reductions are mediated by multiple mechanisms and significant species differences are involved in both reductions.
Journal ArticleDOI

A chronic toxicity study of cyadox in Wistar rats.

TL;DR: The histopathological examinations revealed that 2000mg/kg cyadox diet or 400 mg/kg olaquindox diet could induce proliferation of bile canaliculi in the portal area of liver and swelling and fatty degeneration of the proximal renal tubular epithelial cells in kidneys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interactions of NADPH oxidase, renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and reactive oxygen species in mequindox-mediated aldosterone secretion in Wistar rats.

TL;DR: Long term effects of MEQ on intra- or extra-adrenal renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) in vivo is demonstrated and the complex interactions of drug metabolism, RAAS, NADPH oxidase and oxidative stress in response to MEQ-induced tissue toxicity and aldosterone secretion are highlighted.
