TL;DR: It was found that BMI was a poor predictor of CVD risk, regardless of the scaling factor, and modifications in scaling powers may not be necessary in individuals with SCI; however, these findings should be validated in a larger cohort.

TL;DR: Evaluating the performance of a time synchronization strategy from this class of time synchronization schemes for BLE shows that time synchronization based on the selected method can achieve accuracy of less than 17 μs in worst condition.
Abstract: We previously showed that by detecting and analyzing the current pattern, a class of time synchronization schemes can be devised for BLE. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the performance of a time synchronization strategy from this class. The performance is evaluated in terms of number of nodes, workload of main processor, workload of main processor, and distance. We implement a measurement system and used extensive testbed experiments on BLE devices to study the performance of the time synchronization strategy under various scenarios. The result of our experiments shows that time synchronization based on the selected method can achieve accuracy of less than 17 μs in worst condition.

TL;DR: A new quantitative study shows that the placement of one such boundary is more accurate than the gradient thought to set it, and genetic analysis of the accuracy of the process implicates a gene not previously thought to be involved.

TL;DR: The physical principles and clinical applications of three-dimensional imaging in diagnostic radiology and the technical aspects of medical 3-D imaging, including data sources, creation of3-D space and rendering techniques are described.
Abstract: This article describes the physical principles and clinical applications of three-dimensional imaging in diagnostic radiology. It explores the history of 3-D imaging in medicine and reviews basic 3-D concepts. In addition, it discusses the technical aspects of medical 3-D imaging, including data sources, creation of 3-D space and rendering techniques. The article concludes with an overview of the clinical applications of 3-D imaging in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as a commentary on the future of 3-D imaging in radiology.
