TL;DR: In this article, the authors present means for detecting malfunctions of aircraft equipment adapted for functioning during a mission, and a means for presenting a synthetic reactive indicator, representative of the observed feasibility level of a mission in at least one instant of the mission.
Abstract: A device for evaluation of the operational capabilities of an aircraft for informing a user about the capabilities of the aircraft to carry out a mission. Included are means for detecting malfunctions of aircraft equipment adapted for functioning during a mission. An evaluation device includes means for acquisition of information about the mission; a means for calculating observed feasibility level of the mission on the basis of at least one detected malfunction and the information obtained about the mission of the aircraft; and a means for presenting a synthetic reactive indicator, representative of the observed feasibility level of the mission in at least one instant of the mission. The means for acquisition, calculation and presentation are adapted for functioning during the mission, to inform the user about the observed feasibility level of the mission depending on the detection of new malfunctions and/or the modifications of the mission in course.

TL;DR: In this paper, a hatch for closing an opening provided through an aircraft structure, related structure and method are provided, which includes an inner sealing partition, intended to be mounted sealably on an aircraft and a locking assembly releasable from the inner partition on the structure.
Abstract: A hatch for closing an opening provided through an aircraft structure, related structure and method are provided. The hatch includes an inner sealing partition, intended to be mounted sealably on an aircraft structure and a locking assembly releasable from the inner partition on the structure. The hatch includes a valve for balancing pressure between an inner surface of the inner partition intended to be placed in an inner volume of the aircraft and an outer surface of the inner partition, intended to communicate with the outside of the aircraft. The valve is movable by a user between a closed sealing position and an open pressure balancing position. The releasable locking assembly is immobilized in its locking configuration when the valve is its closed sealing position.

TL;DR: The concept of proto-application as a proxy between computer scientists and application de- velopers on a real industrial use-case and the results show that the speed-up validated on the proto- application can be reproduced on other full scale applications using similar computational patterns.
Abstract: To take full advantage of future HPC systems, hybrid parallelization strategies are required. In a previous work, we demonstrated the Divide and Conquer, D&C, approach for efficient parallelization of finite element methods on unstructured meshes. In this paper we experiment the concept of proto-application as a proxy between computer scientists and application de- velopers on a real industrial use-case. The D&C library has been entirely developed on the proto-application and then validated on the original application. We also ported the D&C library to another fluid dynamic application, AETHER, developed by Dassault Aviation. The results show that the speed-up validated on the proto-application can be reproduced on other full scale applications using similar computational patterns.

TL;DR: In this paper, a system for controlling and monitoring pieces of equipment of an aircraft, each piece of equipment being able to be switched between two logic activation state values, comprising a man-machine interface, a module for configuration of a functional activation state of a function, and a control and monitoring module configured for determining a logic activation states of each of the pieces of the equipment of the system.
Abstract: A system for controlling and monitoring pieces of equipment of an aircraft, each piece of equipment being able to be switched between two logic activation state values, comprising a man-machine interface, a module for configuration of a functional activation state of a function able to be performed on at least pieces of equipment of a system of the aircraft, the functional activation state being configurable between an active state and an inactive state, the configuration module being adapted for detecting an action of selection of a functional activation state of the function by an operator, and a control and monitoring module configured for determining a logic activation state of each of the pieces of equipment of the system, so that, when each of the pieces of equipment is in the determined logic activation state, the function is in the selected functional activation state.
