TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided the optimized synthesis conditions for producing molybdenum-based multisulfide nanostructures and the deposition duration for their deployment in solar-based devices.
Abstract: The deposition of molybdenum multisulfide thin-film photoanodes from the metal–organic precursor [CpMo(SMe)2]2 (1), at different deposition time has been investigated. Four different films were deposited at 550 °C under constant argon gas flow for 10, 15, 20, and 25 min, respectively. The surface morphology of these films analyzed with FE-SEM and AFM showed the presence of compact 1D rod-like structure of MoS2/Mo2S3in a homogeneous form. The average diameter of the 1D compact MoS2/Mo2S3 composite nanorod arrays was found in the range of 155–298 nm deposited for different time durations. EDX analysis showed a consistency where the Mo-to-S ratio was approximately 3:4.5 and demonstrated the overall composition of the 1D MoS2/Mo2S3 composite nanorod arrays. The XRD analysis of the thin film indicated the presence of monoclinic Mo2S3 and rhombohedral MoS2composite system. Moreover, the photocurrent density of 20 min deposited thin film is observed to be 4 mA/cm2 with highest photosensitivity of 6.78 at the overpotential of 0.3 V vs Ag/AgCl under the simulated light intensity of 100 mW/cm2 (AM 1.5G). The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) also showed improved charge transportation with highest lifetime of the photoexcited charges in 20 min deposited thin film in comparison to the other deposition time durations. This study provides the optimized synthesis conditions for producing molybdenum-based multisulfide nanostructures and the deposition duration for their deployment in solar-based devices. Complex [CpMo(SMe)2]2 (1) has been used as a single source precursor for fabrication of MoS2/Mo2S3 composite nanorod arrays on FTO glass substrate and tested for photoelectrochemical hydrogen generation.

TL;DR: Paul Kane paintings and sketches which form the basis of Wanderings of an Artist, were made with the aim of presenting an "extensive series of illustrations of the characteristics, habits and scenery of the country and its inhabitants".
Abstract: Paul Kanes paintings and sketches which form the basis of Wanderings of an Artist, were made with the aim of presenting an “extensive series of illustrations of the characteristics, habits and scenery of the country and its inhabitants.” However, a careful and detailed reading of his paintings and writings show that he actually violated the trust that the American Indians placed in him by depicting false images. Working in the background of Lasswells theory of propaganda this study seeks to demonstrate how the images and writings that he created, fulfilled no purpose, other than that of propaganda. The essay takes as its base the short fiction of Sherman Alexies Scalp Dance by Spokane Indians and attempts to show through the text how Kane, in reality, violated the trust that the American Indian tribes placed in him, by allowing him to photograph them in various poses and at various times of the day and year.

TL;DR: A trust management scheme for unstructured P2P networks is proposed that analyzes the trustworthiness of a peer using reputation-based trust mechanism and used gossip protocol for the dissemination of reputation or trust information.
Abstract: P2P networks are the most popular network used for data sharing and dissemination of important information. Increasing popularity of P2P networks have exposed number of problems regarding security. These problems also include the problem of finding a trustworthy peer for the dissemination of information. In this paper, a trust management scheme for unstructured P2P networks is proposed that analyzes the trustworthiness of a peer using reputation-based trust mechanism. We used gossip protocol for the dissemination of reputation or trust information. Gossip, or epidemic, protocols are the most reliable scalable and resilient network systems for the information distribution. They give us the guarantee that our information or data will be distributed across the network. We also calculated correctness and performance of each node and based on performance of each node our node selection module will select whether to communicate with that node or not. The trust-aware management scheme is capable of filtering out warnings and messages sent by untrusted or low quality peers and also capable of avoiding communication with low quality or malicious nodes.
