Abstract: A finite-element formulation in terms of the magnetic field intensity is developed for 2-D eddy current problems, such that the current density lies in a plane, whereas the magnetic field is normal to such a plane. This type of configuration arises in the analysis of nondestructive testing of pipes, evaluation of transformer tank wall losses, and other applications. By conserving the displacement current, even for low-frequency cases, multiply connected domains and regions with very low conductivity are easily handled. Procedures for loss evaluation, mesh adaptation, and consideration of ferromagnetic materials have been developed.

TL;DR: In this article, un unidad de automatización digital for reducing the demanda de tiempo e incrementar the cantidad of datos that pueden registrarse by unidad of tiempos.

TL;DR: The results suggest that by using the proposed method, the noise in measurements can be mitigated to low values, thus improving the accuracy of the harmonic content estimation.
Abstract: Power quality deals with waveform of sine voltage. Good power quality is supplied by utilities when a perfect sine waveform is delivered. However, several adverse phenomena negatively affect the power quality, e.g. harmonic currents injected to the network. Hence, voltage and current waveforms are distorted. In order to obtain the harmonic content in voltage and current waveforms, they are captured using data acquisition systems. Unfortunately, data can be contaminated by noise. This paper analyzes how affects this noise to determine the harmonic content by an algorithm designed for this purpose such as the Fast Fourier Transform, among others, and proposes an algorithm based on moving average filter to mitigate these adverse effects. The proposed method has been tested using the modified IEEE 14 bus test system. The results show that the harmonic content obtained from low noisy voltage and current waveforms present a considerable error in harmonics of low magnitude; hence, a procedure is necessary to mitigate the noise in contaminated measurements, before they are used to obtain the harmonic content or to assess the time domain state estimation. The results suggest that by using the proposed method, the noise in measurements can be mitigated to low values, thus improving the accuracy of the harmonic content estimation.

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical methodology to obtain steady-state response and boundary value conditions is presented with a single-phase unloaded transformer model which includes a nonlinearity in a magnetic circuit and by a static synchronous compensator, which is a three-phase power electronic device.
Abstract: In electrical networks, the calculation of steady-state responses and boundary conditions are of fundamental importance. Conventionally, the steady-state can be obtained in the time domain through the solution of the resulting set of ordinary differential equations until the transient state dies-out. In many electric networks, this process can take long and computationally expensive simulation times. This article presents an analytical methodology to obtain steady-state response and boundary value conditions. The methodology is illustrated with a single-phase unloaded transformer model which includes a nonlinearity in a magnetic circuit and by a static synchronous compensator, which is a three-phase power electronic device.
