TL;DR: Two dinuclear GdIII clusters, namely [Gd2(piv)6(phen)2] (1) and {[Gd 2(2-TCA)6 (phen) 2]·2H2O} (2), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions, and magnetic studies indicate that weak antiferromagnetic interactions between adjacent Gd III ions exist in 1 and 2 as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: In this article, the activation of organic acids on the leaching process of ion-adsorption type rare earth ore (IRE-ore) was examined in the absence and presence of carboxylic acids, and all the tested organic acids (acetic acid, malonic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, and malic acid) can promote rare earth extraction.
