TL;DR: An optimization of the different feasible points is presented, obtaining a maximum coverage of the sensors, in order to implement an appropriate energy management system in smart homes, based on reliable service network connectivity.
Abstract: This article was developed based on sensor networks for Smart Grids, together with appropriate management methodology which it allows us to analyze and check by a simulation the behavior of these wireless networks in an internal way, inside of a dwelling or smart home, knowing that we use different parameters or restrictions like the coverage distance, the capacity and the percentage of coverage. For this we described the intelligent network infrastructure and we propose a mathematical model to minimize the distance from the sensors to the access points inside the considered area. Additionally, this paper is focused on the design of these smart grids. An optimization of the different feasible points is presented, obtaining a maximum coverage of the sensors, in order to implement an appropriate energy management system in smart homes, based on reliable service network connectivity.

TL;DR: This work proposes the implementation of a Big Data framework to identify the factors that affect student performance and decision-making to improve learning and provides a guide for future studies and highlights new insights and directions for the successful use of Big Data in education.
Abstract: Currently, education is going through a critical moment due to the 2019 coronavirus disease that has been declared a pandemic. This has forced many organizations to undergo a significant transformation, rethinking key elements of their processes and the use of technology to maintain operations. The continuity of education has become dependent on technological tools, as well as on the ability of universities to cope with a precipitous transition to a remote educational model. That has generated problems that affect student learning. This work proposes the implementation of a Big Data framework to identify the factors that affect student performance and decision-making to improve learning. Similar works cover two main research topics under Big Data in education, the modeling and storage of educational data. However, they do not consider issues such as student performance and the improvement of the educational system with the integration of Big Data. In addition, this work provides a guide for future studies and highlights new insights and directions for the successful use of Big Data in education. Real-world data were collected for the evaluation of the proposed framework, the collection of these being the existing limitation in all research due to generalized rejection of data consent.

TL;DR: In this paper, the concentration levels of 226Ra in rainbow trout, in macro invertebrate matrices-substrates and water from the Irquis and Portete rivers were evaluated.
Abstract: Mineral processing has been identified among the twelve main industrial processes that must be under control due to the expose to natural radioactive sources. The modification and, generally, the increase in the concentration of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) in the earth's crust cause an imbalance in the ecosystem. Imbalance that affects the fauna, which are able to bio accumulate these radioisotopes and introduce them into the trophic chain. The main purpose of this work was to establish a radio-ecological baseline. For this purpose, the concentration levels of 226Ra in rainbow trout, in macro invertebrate matrices-substrates and water from the Irquis and Portete rivers were evaluated. A study area adjacent to the Loma Larga mining concession was selected. The measurements were made using the Lucas cells coupled to a Pylon AB6A counter and the "Can Technique", using LR-115 passive detectors. The results indicated that rainbow trout bio accumulated in bones and organsa mean of 94.7% of the total 226Ra detected, which values varied from 4.69 to 2.46 Bq/kg, while macro invertebrate-substrate matrices showed a concentration that ranged between 0.7 and 1.3 Bq/kg in the Irquis River, while in the Portete River was between 1.1 and 19.3 Bq/kg. The water samples, in the sampling points of the Irquis River, showed concentrations that ranged between 37.3 and 119.1 mBq/l and in the Portete River between 43.5 to 146.4 mBq/l.

TL;DR: The economic feasibility of network sharing agreements between mobile operators for the case of two operators is analyzed and it is concluded that the network operator is worse off under any circumstances under a pooling agreement, while a lump sum payment may leave the network operators better off under a priority sharing agreement.
Abstract: 5G networks will make network sharing agreements between mobile operators technically possible. However, depending on the agreed and implemented quality-of-service isolation, the provision of services may lead to unsustainable business cases. In this paper, the economic feasibility of such arrangements is analyzed for the case of two operators. Concretely, while one network operator owns the spectrum, one virtual operator does not, and each one provides service to its subscriber base. Two sharing alternatives, namely, pooling and priority sharing, are studied regarding the profits that each operator gets. We conclude that the network operator is worse off under any circumstances under a pooling agreement, while a lump sum payment may leave the network operator better off under a priority sharing agreement.
