Linearization and control of a system of pneumatic suspension of a sphere

Abstract: In this paper, details the functioning of a plant of control, air suspension of a sphere, through which it will analyze its mathematical model, its nonlinear behavior, which must be linearized in a point of operation, to subsequently generate a PID control of it, in order to verify the correct behavior of the plant against several perturbations, their respective testing and simulation using MATLAB software.

Special glasses for obstacle detection with location system in case of emergency and aid for recognition of dollar bills for visually impaired persons

Abstract: A visually impaired person or a person with visually impaired, daily has difficulties to learn to recognize or differentiate objects when performing any activity, such as walking the streets or being able to recognize dollar bills of different denomination, this makes that the people with this type of disability cannot adapt easily to the society. Usually the visually impaired persons depend on someone to help them in their daily lives. The method that will be used for this problem is to adapt an ultrasonic sensor to the glasses, since most of the visually impaired persons wear glasses, there would not be any problem. The ultrasonic sensor will have its respective circuit, which will issue a repetitive vibration to indicate the proximity of an obstacle, an emergency button will be implemented too, in case it is necessary, it will send a signal to a mobile device (cellphone) that can be property of a family member or of a rescue service. In addition, an Android application that allows the visually impaired person to recognize dollar bills of different denomination.

Abstract: The cult to the body is present in all the cultures and epochs historical, as well as “the experience of the pain” that has led the human beings to the exercise of the domain and of the power of some over others by means of the pain application on the bodies; for example the ideological mastery of religious dye exercised by the Hebrew patriarchs, the educated Sumerian, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Aztec, Mayan, Inca, etc. During the Middle Ages, this one was stated realize with more clarity. A body tortured, submitted to the pain and to the torture is not but a pedagogic modality for its congeners. The fear, the terror are bosses who design a type of human conduct, they do of the human beings a few instruments of utility of the powerful ones, of the delinquents, of the drug traffickers whose only intention is to increase its empire of the capital for the power of the weapon.

Estimation of Nitrogen in the Soil of Balsa Trees in Ecuador Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Abstract: The use of remote sensing considering Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is a recent alternative to collect data from different fields. One of the applications is related to soil parameter estimation considering different multispectral vegetation indexes. The typical use is to establish a relationship between the plant health and a vegetation index. However, this is a simple estimation where is not considered any field (soil) validation or real parameter estimation. Thus, this work aims to establish a model to estimate the percentage of nitrogen (N) in the soil, using vegetation indexes obtained from UAV and soil field measurements under balsa trees in Ecuador. The results show a high correlation between the Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI) and the soil-nitrogen in comparison with other vegetation indexes, as the Normalized Vegetation Index (NDVI). Thus, this methodology allows to estimate the percentage of N to optimize the balsa production.

Adquisición de señales de vibración y emisión acústica para el diagnóstico de severidad de fallos en maquinaria rotativa

Abstract: Se adquirio senales de vibracion y emision acustica para el diagnostico de la severidad de fallos en maquinaria rotativa. Las senales de vibracion y emision acustica fueron adquiridas de una caja de engranajes de una etapa donde se simularon fallos de grieta y gripado en los engranes con un total de nueve niveles de severidad para cada fallo. Como resultados se analizo las senales en el dominio de la frecuencia donde se compara el comportamiento de la severidad del fallo de las senales de emision acustica y vibraciones.
