TL;DR: The authors conducted multinomial regressions with a data set of Chinese provincial leaders between 1949 and 1994 in thirty provincial units and found that the political mobility of provincial leaders is determined not only by the political movements of the PRC but also by the economic performance of the provincial leaders.

TL;DR: This method is particularly successful in determining g-matrix parameters, which are very difficult to extract for high-spin systems from single frequency (or a very limited set of multi-frequency) HFEPR spectra, but is also able to deliver equally accurate values of the zero-field splitting tensor.
