05 Sep 2003TL;DR: In this article, an airbag module for installation into a steering wheel including a gas generator carrier and a covering cap are connected with each other by a snap connection, and the assembly of such airbag modules and steering wheel is further proposed.
Abstract: An airbag module for installation into a steering wheel including a gas generator carrier ( 18 ) and a covering cap ( 16 ) which are connected with each other by a snap connection ( 22 ). The gas generator carrier ( 18 ) has first projections ( 28 ) and the covering cap ( 16 ) has second projections ( 26 ) each associated to one of the first projections ( 28 ). One of the first projections ( 28 ) of the gas generator carrier ( 18 ) and an associated one of the second projections ( 26 ) of the covering cap ( 16 ) form a common extension ( 24 ) which receives a first end ( 30 a ) of a helical spring ( 30 ). There is further proposed an assembly of a steering wheel ( 10 ) and such airbag module ( 14 ).

TL;DR: A motor/pump unit, particularly for a power-steering arrangement in a motor vehicle, includes a housing, a hydraulic pump unit having a pump module and a motor unit with a drive motor as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A motor/pump unit, particularly for a power-steering arrangement in a motor vehicle, includes a housing, a hydraulic pump unit having a pump module and a motor unit with a drive motor At least one damping element is provided between the pump unit and a portion of the housing to decouple the noise of the pump unit

17 Jul 2003TL;DR: In this paper, a vehicle steering wheel comprises a steering wheel rim, at least one tube which is filled with fluid and arranged in the steering wheel, and a device for generating a pressure wave in the fluid.
Abstract: A vehicle steering wheel comprises a steering wheel rim, at least one tube which is filled with fluid and arranged in the steering wheel rim, and a device for generating a pressure wave in the fluid. The device is designed and the tube is arranged such that the pressure wave generates a haptic signal, able to be perceived by the driver, on a surface of the steering wheel rim.

07 Apr 2004TL;DR: A cabinet catch as mentioned in this paper consists of an integrally molded plastic clip (14) and bracket (12) for mounting to a portion of a cabinet structure, and the bracket is formed from a second plastic material different from the first material.
Abstract: A cabinet catch (10) consists of an integrally molded plastic clip (14) and bracket (12) for mounting to a portion of a cabinet structure The clip (14) is manufactured from a first plastic material The clip (14) is rotatable relative to the bracket (12) about an axis of rotation (20) The bracket (12) is formed from a second plastic material different from the first material The first and second plastic materials are dissimilar to each other so they do not bond to each other A method of manufacturing the cabinet catch (10) includes the steps of injection molding the clip (14) with a first plastic material and then injection molding the bracket (12) with a second plastic material different from the first plastic material so that the clip and the bracket (12) are integrally molded

24 Sep 2002TL;DR: In this paper, the printed circuit board is rigidly connected to the metallic envelope by metallic fasteners extending from the top wall through the frame and to the board, and the board is located between the bottom wall and the frame.
Abstract: A housing for electronic control devices in motor vehicles comprises a generally parallelepipedal frame of plastics and a metallic envelope with spaced parallel top and bottom walls interconnected by parallel side walls and at least one open face. The top, bottom and side walls define a space and the frame is fitted into such space. The control device includes a printed circuit board and electronic components connected to the printed circuit board and engaged in shaped holding structures of the frame. The printed circuit board is located between the bottom wall and the frame. The printed circuit board is rigidly connected to the metallic envelope by metallic fasteners extending from the top wall through the frame and to the printed circuit board.
