TL;DR: In this paper, two groundwater collections were performed in 12 wells distributed around the city: the first one in the dry season, in August 2013; and the second one in rainy season in December of 2013.
Abstract: The groundwater of the Parecis Aquifer (PA) represents the only source of public drinking water supply in the Vilhena City, RO. In this way, an evaluation of water quality determined by physical, chemical and microbiological analyzes can provide data to understand the consumed water conditions. In the present study, two groundwater collections were performed in 12 wells distributed around the city: the first one in the dry season, in August 2013; and the second one in rainy season, in December of 2013. The parameters analyzed were the ionic constituents ( F - , Cl - , NO 2 - ,Br - ,NO 3 - ,PO 4 -3 ,SO 4 -2 ,Na + ,NH 4 + , K + ,Ca 2+ eMg 2+ ) that were quantified by ion chromatography, while for microbiological analysis, the method utilized was the chromogenic media used in membranes filtration. The parameters pH and turbidity were measured using a portable pH meter, and a portable turbidimeter. The results showed values below the limits established by CONAMA Resolution396/2008 and the MS Directive 2914/2011for turbidity and all of ionic constituents, except for nitrate (6 wells)and ammonium (1 well), as well as presence of acid pH. The rainy season presented more contamination by E scherichia coli and total coliforms than the dry period, and it can be associated with bad conditions of wells, besides it is an unconfined aquifer, it has been facilitating the flow of possible contaminants. The results shown the importance of a constant monitoring in the water quality in communities that have been using alternative sources, avoiding problems related to human health.

TL;DR: A survey of twenty-three languages, belonging to seven different language families, confirms the observation that small counting term systems are a general feature of indigenous Amazonian languages as mentioned in this paper, and suggests that this is evidence of a way of thinking about and practicing counting that is shared across a cultural area.
Abstract: Linguistic theory has been preoccupied since midway through the twentieth century with the search for universals of language. However, more recently there has been increasing attention across the different disciplines that contribute to research in language to variation and difference. This goes together with a more recent focus on culture and language, approached through interdisciplinary research methods, including field research. In this article the authors report the results of a survey they conducted with the assistance of indigenous teachers about the counting term (number) systems of their native Amazonian languages. All the teachers were indigenous people from different communities living in the State of Rondonia, Brazil. This survey of twenty-three languages, belonging to seven different language families, confirms the observation that small counting term systems are a general feature of indigenous Amazonian languages. This article identifies two general features of counting term systems in the languages of Rondonia: a restricted number (less than five) of lexicalisations of number, and the productive combinatorial use of these terms to refer to larger quantities. It suggests that this is evidence of a way of thinking about and practicing counting that is shared across a cultural area. However, this generalization goes together with a high degree of of diversity in the specific patterns of lexicalisation and combination.

TL;DR: In this paper, a contabilizacao das especies foram utilizado os registros diretos (avistamentos) e indiretos(fezes, pegadas e tocas).

TL;DR: The Laranjinha River is a tributary of the Cinzas River, Paranapanema River basin this article, and the most representative order in the number of species was Siluriformes, followed by Characiformes.
Abstract: This work is the most comprehensive survey of the Laranjinha River´s fishes, a tributary of the Cinzas River, Paranapanema River basin. Throughout its course, there is only a low-height dam, including a transposition system located 98 km from its mouth. The sampling was carried out in nine locations, from the source to the mouth, with six field incursions in each location, using different fishing gear. A total of 11,924 fish were collected, distributed in seven orders, 27 families, and 100 species. The most representative order in the number of species was Siluriformes, followed by Characiformes. As for the families, Loricariidae comprised 21% and Characidae 14% of species richness. Phalloceros harpagos was the species with the highest absolute abundance, representing 11.3% of the total, followed by Hypostomus ancistroides with 9.8%. However, considering the average abundance and frequency of occurrence, Hypostomus ancistroides was the most abundant species, followed by Hypostomus cf. paulinus, Psalidodon aff. paranae and Phalloceros harpagos. Among the collected species, the Apteronotus acidops, Brycon orbygnianus, Brycon nattereri, Crenicichla jupiaensis, and Rhinelepis aspera were classified as endangered on the most recent IUCN Red List. Also, from the total sampled fish, 9.8% are considered non-native species. Among the native species recorded, 10 species are large migratory species, which indicates that the Laranjinha River is a route for spawning and maintenance of species diversity in the middle Paranapanema River. Therefore, the Laranjinha River is a heritage of fish diversity and deserves special attention in its preservation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pesquisa busca identificar quais as contribuicoes do uso of RSV for o empreendedorismo feminino.
