TL;DR: This work has demonstrated the use of evolutionary computation techniques in particle swarm optimization and ant colony optimization in indoor propagation problem and demonstrated their ability to optimize base station location using data from neural network model of wireless local area network (WLAN).
Abstract: The main goal of this work is to show the use of evolutionary computation techniques. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) and ant colony optimization (ACO) in indoor propagation problem. These algorithms employ different strategies and computational efforts, but also they have something in common. Therefore, it is appropriate to compare their performance with the genetic algorithm (GA). We have demonstrated their ability to optimize base station location using data from neural network model of wireless local area network (WLAN). The results show that PSO has- better properties compared to ACO algorithm. The ACO algorithm needs further work to optimize the algorithm parameters, improve analysis of pheromone data and reduce computation time. However, the ant colony based approach is utilizable for solving such problems.

TL;DR: A logistic regression model applied for assessment of the users’ quality of experience with web browsing service over mobile network provides satisfactory estimation of the web browsing Service quality experience acceptability.
Abstract: In this paper, we presented a logistic regression model that we applied for assessment of the users’ quality of experience with web browsing service over mobile network. With this regard, we chose the Average-Time-to-Connect-TCP network service quality parameter as an independent predictor, obtained by passive monitoring of live traffic data, captured by a passive probe on the mobile network Gn interface, and related to detailed records of the Transport Control Protocol. In parallel with in-service measuring the selected network parameter, we conducted simultaneous subjective tests of the quality of experience acceptability to users, specifically for web browsing service. Particularly, it was found that the model provided correct acceptability classification in 84.5% of cases, while reducing the chosen independent predictor for 100 ms implied increasing the chance of the service acceptability by factor of 1.65. Based on the obtained results, it comes out that the applied logistic regression model provides satisfactory estimation of the web browsing service quality experience acceptability.

TL;DR: A sustainable development model of nautical tourism ports has been completed in this paper, where the authors have emphasized the importance of integral managing in the function of Nautical tourism development and selection of NTL ports locations.
Abstract: This paper systematically and clearly defines the significance of these a and coastal are ainnautical tourism activities’ preformances. Ecological aspect of the area is considered and the need for a systematic and multidiscipline planning of its development and the usage is pointed out. With its specificactivityandtheneedforspacearoundthe coastal line within maritime domain, nautical tourism emphasizes problems of protection of costal and sea environment. Location of nautical tourism ports and spatial planning becomes one of the most important issues. Therefore, spatial plans have to be subordinated to the protection and promotion of the environment, which implies efficient, but sensible managing of the coastal area. Authors have emphasized the importance of integral managing in the function of nautical tourism development and selection of nautical tourism ports locations. The significance of sustained research is pointed out in order to understand its role in development of country’s economy. Respecting areal and ecological aspects of nautical tourism development, a sustainable development model of nautical tourism ports has been completed. The model indicates the selection of scientific methodology using methods of multicriterial analysis and team work of experts from various fields.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identify what attitudes towards safety performance indicators influence the attitudes towards successfulness of ISM Code implementation among contemporary seafarers and obtain insight into the seafarer's attitudes towards the current state of the ISM implementation and safety performance.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify what attitudes towards safety performance indicators influence the attitudes towards successfulness of ISM Code implementation among contemporary seafarers. Secondly, the goal of the research was to obtain insight into the seafarer’s attitudes towards the current state of ISM implementation and safety performance. Consequently, a sample of N=330 seafarers was examined regarding their attitudes towards safety performance variables and ISM Code implementation. By using multiple regression analysis it was concluded that well designed and structured safety rules and procedures, positive work environment and adequate communication can make significant contributions to seafarers’ attitudes towards ISM implementation.
