TL;DR: In this paper, a new set theory called neutrosophic set is proposed, which is based on fuzzy topological space and intuitionistic fuzzy topology space, and its properties are discussed.
Abstract: Neutrosophy has been introduced by Smarandache (7, 8) as a new branch of philosophy. The purpose of this paper is to construct a new set theory called the neutrosophic set. After given the fundamental definitions of neutrosophic set operations, we obtain several properties, and discussed the relationship between neutrosophic sets and others. Finally, we extend the concepts of fuzzy topological space (4), and intuitionistic fuzzy topological space (5, 6) to the case of neutrosophic sets. Possible application to superstrings and

TL;DR: Three variables will be optimized to reduce transportation cost using four methods which will include: Northwest corner method, least cost method, Vogel method and modi method, which will mainly aim at finding the best and cheapest route on how supply will be used to satisfy demand at specific points.
Abstract: Transportation problem is considered a vitally important aspect that has been studied in a wide range of operations including research domains. As such, it has been used in simulation of several real life problems. Thus, optimizing transportation problem of variables has remarkably been significant to various disciplines. In this paper, three variables will be optimized to reduce transportation cost using four methods which will include: Northwest corner method, least cost method, Vogel method and modi method. This will mainly aim at finding the best and cheapest route on how supply will be used to satisfy demand at specific points. This will imply that, a variable cost of shipping products from suppliers to demand points will be considered.

TL;DR: The Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers have been introduced in the proposed inventory model and it is shown that the proposed approach is simple, gives a better result in relatively less computational work.
Abstract: In the present paper, an inventory model without shortages has been considered in a fuzzy environment. Our goal is to determine the optimal total cost and the optimal order quantity for the proposed inventory model. The Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers have been introduced in order to achieve this goal. The computation of economic order quantity (EOQ) is carried out through defuzzification process by using signed distance method. The signed distance method is more applicable than the other methods of defuzzification. To illustrate the results of the proposed model, we have given two model examples and presented the computational results. Sensitivity for this model is also studied, which shows a linear relation between demand, EOQ, and total cost. The advantage of the proposed approach is that it is simple, gives a better result in relatively less computational work.
