In this article, the presence of trans/trans and cis/trans isomers has been proven by 31P-NMR spectroscopy by deprotonation of a phosphino-substituted diphosphene and arsaphosphene, resp.Abstract:
The compounds 1.3-bis(2,4,6-tri-tert.butylphenyl)triphosphaallyllithium (5) and 1.3-bis(2,4,6-tritert.butylphenyl)-2-arsa-1,3-diphosphaallyllithium (7) are prepared by deprotonation of a phosphino-substituted diphosphene and arsaphosphene, resp. Die Verbindungen 1.3-Bis(2,4,6-tri-tert.butylphenyl)triphosphaallyllithium (5) und 1.3-Bis-(2,4,6-tri-tert.butylphenyl)-2-arsa-1,3-diphosphaallyllithium (7) werden durch Deprotonierung eines phosphino-substituierten Diphosphens bzw. Arsaphosphens dargestellt. Das Vorliegen von trans/trans und cis/trans-Isomeren wird durch 31P-NMR-Spektroskopie nachgewiesen.read more

Sodium phosphaethynolate, Na(OCP), as a “P” transfer reagent for the synthesis of N-heterocyclic carbene supported P3 and PAsP radicals
TL;DR: In this paper, the electron transfer was used to reveal the central pnictogen atom in both cases as the main carrier of the spin density (∼60%), and that they are best described as the P3 or PAsP analogues of the elusive allyl radical dianion.

The complexed triphosphaallyl radical, cation, and anion family.
Manfred Scheer,Christian Kuntz,Markus Stubenhofer,Michael Linseis,Rainer F. Winter,Marek Sierka +5 more
TL;DR: Oxidation of the radical leads to a triphosphaallyl cation, which is only stable at low temperatures in solution, whereas the stable triphoselytic anion is formed by reduction.

TL;DR: In this paper, a photolyse of [Cp*P{W(CO)5}2] with einem Diphosphen verlauft uber ein radikalisches Intermediat and liefert ein luftstabiles komplexiertes Triphosphaallylradikal, in dem das ungepaarte Elektron gleichmasig uber beide terminale P-Atome verteilt ist.

[3+2] Fragmentation of an [RP5Cl]+ Cage Cation Induced by an N-Heterocyclic Carbene†
TL;DR: The cage compound [DippP5 Cl][GaCl4 ] (Dipp=2,6-diisopropylphenyl) reacts with an NHC (N-heterocyclic carbene) by an unprecedented [3+2] fragmentation of the P5 (+) core, yielding an imidazoliumyl-substituted P3 species featuring a triphosphaallyl anion motif and a neutral P2 compound.

Recent highlights in mixed-coordinate oligophosphorus chemistry
TL;DR: This review aims to highlight and comprehensively summarize recent developments in the field of mixed-coordinate phosphorus chemistry and particular attention is focused on the synthetic approaches to compounds containing at least two directly bonded phosphorus atoms in different coordination environments.
