New similarity measures of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and application to pattern recognitions

TL;DR: The definition of the degree of similarity between IFSs is introduced and several new similarity measures between I FSs are proposed and corresponding proofs are given.

Similarity measures for categorical data: A comparative evaluation

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of a variety of similarity measures in the context of a specific data mining task is evaluated. But their relative performance has not been evaluated for all types of problems.

Similarity measures on intuitionistic fuzzy sets

TL;DR: The proposed similarity measures can provide a useful way for measuring IFSs more effectively and are more reasonable than some existing similarity measures in general cases.

Some similarity measures of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and their applications to multiple attribute decision making

TL;DR: The similarity measures are developed and the notions of positive ideal intuitionistic fuzzy set and negative ideal intuitionist fuzzy set are defined and applied to multiple attribute decision making under intuitionists fuzzy environment.

Measures of similarity between vague sets

TL;DR: The proposed measures can provide a useful way for measuring the degree of similarity between vague sets and can be used to improve the quality of knowledge about vague sets.

Fuzzy relational equations and the inverse problem

TL;DR: In this article, the inverse problem concerned with fuzzy relations is investigated and conditions for the existence of a solution are shown and an analytical solution is given, and a method for the improvement of the solution is proposed.

Value approximation of fuzzy systems variables

TL;DR: It is shown that the property of approximation is preserved when the maxmin compositional rule of inference is applied to approximately equal values of fuzzy variables and fuzzy relations.
