A further note on the nucleoous of the “airport game”

TLDR
In this article, a generalization of a previous paper on an airport cost game to the case of an airport profit game is presented, where a fee schedule is obtained by subtracting the payoff vector from the vector of revenues, and it is proved that the fee schedule corresponding to the nucleolus is independent of the revenue vector.
Abstract
This paper represents a generalization of a previous paper on an “airport cost game” to the case of an “airport profit game”. A fee schedule in the airport profit game is obtained by subtracting the payoff vector from the vector of revenues. It is proved that the fee schedule corresponding to the nucleolus is independent of the revenue vector.

Game theory and cost allocation problems

TL;DR: In this paper, a survey of cost allocation methods based on the nucleolus and the Shapley value is presented, and also a new one, the so-called cost gap allocation method which is based on I„-value.

Aircraft Landing Fees: A Game Theory Approach

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the implications of an alternative pricing philosophy where the common costs of runway construction are shared among the different aircraft types according to a club principle, and suggest new rules of thumb for allocating common costs based on the Shapley value and the nucleolus.

Operations Research Games: a Survey

TL;DR: This paper surveys the research area of cooperative games associated with several types of operations research problems in which various decision makers (players) are involved on the basis of a distinction between the nature of the underlying optimisation problem: connection, routing, scheduling, production and inventory.

Chapter 18 The bargaining set, kernel, and nucleolus

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on the bargaining set, kernel, and nucleolus, and discuss the axiomatic foundation of the prekernel and the prenucleolus.

Internal Telephone Billing Rates—A Novel Application of Non-Atomic Game Theory

TL;DR: The problem of determining rates for a situation in which services are purchased in bulk but have to be paid for by a large number of small users is considered, formulated as a non-atomic game and solved by using the value of the game.

A simple expression for the nucleolus in a special case

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a simple algorithm for calculating the nucleolus of a game whenever the characteristic function is non-positive, i.e., the players can be ordered by size in such a way that the cost of any coalition is equal to the largest player in that coalition.
