TLDR
In this article, a general route for the synthesis of triazacyclonononane functionalised with one, two or three pendant phosphine arms was presented, and the method was used to synthesize N-(diphenylphosphinopropyl) 1,4,7-triazacy clonoane (L) and its zinc(II) complex [Zn2L2Cl3][ClO4].About:

Ditopic Ligands. The Synthesis of a Series of Phosphine-Functionalised Macrocycles
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of a series of phosphine-functionalised macrocycles, 1-6, was described, and the combination of N-and O-sites with P- and S-sites provides ligands which may bind transition or non-transition metal ions; as a consequence, they give access to dinuclear complexes containing both a Lewis acid and a redox metallic site.
