TLDR
In this paper, fixed adsorptive distillation is used to enhance azeotropic IPA-water mixture with an interbed of adsorbent filled of silica gel, and the results show that this method can pass the aizotropic point; the higher the feed composition of column I as well as the high the ratio of flow is, the higher purity of the second column product is.
