The Paternò-Büchi reaction - a comprehensive review.

TL;DR: The photochemical reaction between an excited state of carbonyl compounds and an alkene to give the oxetane deriving from a cycloaddition reaction (the Paternò-Büchi reaction) is presented, and the possible application of this reaction in organic synthesis is discussed, comparing the photochemical approach with the other approaches used to synthesize theOxetane ring.

Chapter 3 Photo-CIDNP Spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an introduction to the theory, explain the instrumentation and techniques with emphasis on new developments, and use a series of case studies to illustrate the information that a chemist can obtain from photo-CIDNP, and review recent applications of photo CIDNP spectroscopy to chemical and biochemical problems.

Hyperpolarization methods in NMR spectroscopy

Lars T. Kuhn, +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, photo-CIDNP Spectroscopy of Amino Acids and Proteins was used for NMR and MRI sensitivity improvement with Parahydrogen.

Distance-dependent diffusion-controlled reaction of •NO and O2•- at chemical equilibrium with ONOO-.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the equilibrium constant depends on ONOO(-) concentration, in contradiction to the law of mass action, and a wide range of k(f)(eq) values could be derived.
Book ChapterDOI

Elucidating organic reaction mechanisms using photo-CIDNP spectroscopy.

TL;DR: Recent applications of CIDNP to elucidate the mechanisms of photochemical reactions are reviewed, which illustrate all these facets.

A LEED and RHEED Investigation of Cu on Au(111) in the Underpotential Region

TL;DR: In this paper, the structure of Cu adsorbates, deposited electrochemically up to one monolayer onto Au(111) at underpotentials, has been investigated using LEED and RHEED after transfer of the gold electrode from the electrochemical cell into an UHV chamber.
