TLDR
In this article, the adsorption equilibria of water vapor on Al2O3, zeolite 13X, and a Zeolite X/activated carbon composite (Zeocarbon) were measured by a static volumetric method.
Abstract
The adsorption equilibria of water vapor on Al2O3, zeolite 13X, and a zeolite X/activated carbon composite (Zeocarbon) were measured by a static volumetric method. The equilibrium experiments were conducted at (293.2, 313.2, 333.1, and 353.1) K and pressures up to 2.1 kPa for Al2O3 and 2.3 kPa for zeolite 13X and Zeocarbon, respectively. The experimental data obtained were correlated by the Aranovich and Donohue (A−D) and n-layer BET models.

Adsorption of CO2 from dry gases on MCM-41 silica at ambient temperature and high pressure. 1: Pure CO2 adsorption

TL;DR: In this paper, the adsorption capacity at high pressure was found to increase with the increase of surface area as well as with pore ordering as reflected by the intensity of the (1 − 0 − 0) X-ray diffraction peak.

Production of microporous biochars by single-step oxidation: Effect of activation conditions on CO2 capture

TL;DR: In this article, a series of carbon adsorbents were prepared from almond shells and olive stones by single-step activation with air at 400-500°C, and with lower O2 concentration in the activating gas, 3-5%, at higher temperatures (500-650°C).

A new approach to analysis of multilayer adsorption

TL;DR: In this paper, a new approach to the analysis of vapor adsorption on solids is proposed, where the adorption isotherm is represented as a(p) = f(p)/(1-p/ps)d where p is the pressure, ps is the saturation vapor pressure, f is a function describing the first molecular layer, and d is an adjustable parameter.

Prediction of equilibrium adsorption of water onto activated carbon

TL;DR: In this article, an existing method of prediction of water−carbon and water−organic−carbon adsorption equilibria is examined, making necessary adaptations such that a new method is evolved, which is suitable for inclusion in an adsorber model.
