Dispelling Myths about Latino Parent Participation in Schools
TL;DR: The authors conducted a qualitative study to discuss and dispel commonly held myths about Latino parents' involvement in their children's education, and found that some teachers held negative perceptions of Latino parents, and that Latino parents had high expectations of their children' academic achievement and wanted to be more involved in their education, but felt excluded from the school community.

TL;DR: This paper studied the persistence of Black female superintendents' persistence in their positions in relation to the concepts of tempered radicalism and servant leadership, and found that despite the small numbers of Black women serving as Superintendents and the overwhelming obstacles of the position, Black women continue to meet the challenges of educational leadership and are flourishing in their jobs.
