Angular broadening of pulsars and the distribution of interstellar plasma fluctuations
TLDR
In this paper, the authors compare angular and temporal broadening for 10 pulsars and conclude that there is a uniform distribution of scattering material in the interstellar plasma with localized, strong scattering near young supernova remnants.Abstract:
Comparison of angular and temporal broadening for 10 pulsars suggests a uniform distribution of scattering material in the interstellar plasma with localized, strong scattering near young supernova remnants. Angular broadening and temporal broadening both measure the integrated strength of scattering along the line of sight, but with different weighting functions. Comparison of the two thus yields information on the distribution of scattering material along the line of sight. We report new measurements of angular diameter for the scattering disks of eight pulsars, and discuss two measurements from the literature. We compare these results with published measurements of temporal broadeningread more

Polarization Observations of 1720 MHz OH Masers toward the Three Supernova Remnants W28, W44, and IC 443
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present arcsecond resolution observations from the VLA with full Stokes polarimetry of the ground-state satellite line of the hydroxyl molecule (OH) at 1720.53 MHz toward three Galactic supernova remnants: W28, W44, and IC 443.

Theory of parabolic arcs in interstellar scintillation spectra
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that arcs will occur in all media that scatter significant power at angles larger than the rms angle, and that these arcs are due to large-scale density structures, rather than lowfrequency components of Kolmogorov turbulence.

Theory of Parabolic Arcs in Interstellar Scintillation Spectra
TL;DR: In this paper, the 2D power spectrum of the radio dynamic spectrum is related to the scattered pulsar image in a thin scattering screen geometry, and arcs correspond to a parabolic relation between these quantities through their common dependence on the angle of arrival of scattered components.

Pulsar Scintillation and the Local Bubble
TL;DR: In this article, an extensive scintillation study of 20 pulsars in the dispersion measure range 3-35 pc cm-3, carried out using the Ooty Radio Telescope at 327 MHz, was conducted to investigate the distribution of ionized material in the local interstellar medium (LISM).

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed radio observations of Sagittarius A* using a physically motivated scattering model, and developed a prescription to incorporate refractive scattering uncertainties when model fitting.
