Source identification system based on the time-domain nearfield equivalence source imaging: Fundamental theory and implementation

TL;DR: In this paper, a nearfield equivalence source imaging (NESI) technique is proposed to identify locations and strengths of noise sources, which is based on the time-domain formulation that applies not only to stationary but also a transient noise.

A two-stage fast Bayesian spectral density approach for ambient modal analysis. Part I: Posterior most probable value and uncertainty

TL;DR: In this article, a two-stage fast Bayesian spectral density approach is proposed to extract modal properties for the cases of separated modes and closely spaced modes, where the spectral properties can be decoupled completely for both cases.

Damage Localization from the Null Space of Changes in the Transfer Matrix

TL;DR: In this article, a new theorem connecting changes in transfer matrices to the spatial location of stiffness related damage is presented, which states that the span of the null space of the change in the transfer matrix (∆G) contains vectors that are Laplace transforms of excitations for which the dynamic stress field is identically zero over the portion of the domain where the damage is located.

Cost-effective design and operation of variable speed wind turbines

D.P. Molenaar
TL;DR: In this paper, a methodology has been developed for the class of wind turbine bines that has the highest potential to reach cost-effectiveness in the (near) future using MATLAB R/SIMULINK R environment.

Continuous-Time Bilinear System Identification

TL;DR: In this article, a method for identification of a continuous-time multi-input and multi-output bilinear system with a constant input was proposed, which makes judicious use of the linear model properties of the system when subjected to the constant input.
