TLDR
Treadmill exercise is the most widely used stress modality and several treadmill exercise protocols are described which differ in the speed and grade of treadmill inclination and may be more appropriate for specific patient populations.

The EXXERT Study

TL;DR: The results demonstrate that with careful monitoring for ischemia, regadenoson can be administered at 3 minutes into recovery in patients not achieving adequate stress during exercise MPI, and results in comparable assessment of ischemic perfusion defects and image quality and improved target to background ratio compared to SPECT imaging after standard (non-exercise) reg adenoson stress.

Pharmacologic Stress Agents for Cardiac Imaging

TL;DR: The mechanism of action, protocols, indications and contraindications as well as the diagnostic performance and safety profile of all pharmacological agents currently available for stress imaging are described with an emphasis on the newly developed A2A adenosine receptor agonist, regadenoson.

Myocardial Sympathetic Innervation Imaging with MIBG in Dementia with Lewy Bodies.

TL;DR: In the revised criteria, the SPECT brain dopamine transporter imaging (DAT) for detection of nigrostriatal dopaminergic impairment (reduced uptake in the basal ganglia), and myocardial sympathetic innervation scintigraphy with 123I-metaiodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) to detect norepinephrine transporter deficit ( reduced myocardIAL uptake) are grouped under indicative biomarkers for DLB with increased diagnostic weighting given to MIB

Incremental Value of Exercise ECG to Myocardial Perfusion Single‐Photon Emission Computed Tomography for Prediction of Cardiac Events

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used myocardial perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography (MPS) and exercise ECG (Ex-ECG) to diagnose chronic coronary disease.

Exercise Standards for Testing and Training A Scientific Statement From the American Heart Association

TL;DR: These guidelines are a revision of the 1995 standards of the AHA that addressed the issues of exercise testing and training and current issues of practical importance in the clinical use of these standards are considered.
