TLDR
It is found that the lepton-number-violating out-of-equilibrium decays of right-handed neutrinos combined with anomalous electroweak processes can generate the baryon number of the Universe, and that the scenario works for a wide range of parameters in the neutrino sector.
Abstract
If right-handed Majorana neutrinos are added to the standard model, then lepton-number-violating out-of-equilibrium decays of right-handed neutrinos combined with anomalous electroweak processes can generate the baryon number of the Universe. We analyze this mechanism in detail, and determine the ranges of parameters for which the correct baryon number is generated. We find that the scenario works for a wide range of parameters in the neutrino sector, including right-handed neutrino masses ranging from \ensuremath{\sim}1 TeV to \ensuremath{\sim}${10}^{19}$ GeV, depending on the assumptions made about the structure of the neutrino mass matrices.

Leptogenesis for pedestrians

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical description of the thermal leptogenesis process is presented, where the dependence on the neutrino mass parameters becomes transparent and the effect of all other scattering processes lies within the theoretical uncertainty of present calculations.

Towards a complete theory of thermal leptogenesis in the SM and MSSM

TL;DR: In this article, a thorough study of thermal leptogenesis was performed by adding finite temperature effects, RGE corrections, scatterings involving gauge bosons and by properly avoiding overcounting on-shell processes.

Resonant Leptogenesis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the scenario of thermal leptogenesis in which the leptonic asymmetries are resonantly enhanced through the mixing of nearly degenerate heavy Majorana neutrinos that have mass differences comparable to their decay widths.

CP violating decays in leptogenesis scenarios

TL;DR: In this paper, the CP violation in the decays of heavy electroweak singlet neutrinos arising from both the one-loop vertex corrections and the wave function mixing was investigated.

Leptogenesis as the origin of matter

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore in some detail the hypothesis that the generation of a primordial lepton-antilepton asymmetry (Leptogenesis) early on in the history of the universe is the root cause for the origin of matter.
