TLDR
In this article, a fuzzy goal programming model for locating multiple new facilities on a plane bounded by a convex polygon under the criteria: (1) minimize the sum of all the transportation costs and (2) minimise the maximum distances from the facilities to the demand points.

The pre-positioning of humanitarian aid : the warehouse location problem

Saeyeon Roh
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the warehouse location decision problem by considering regional and specific site attributes in the unique context of humanitarian relief organization, and developed coherent warehouse decision attributes to deal with the fuzziness of decision-makers' preferences in decision making.

On a fully fuzzy framework for minimax mixed integer linear programming

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a modeling framework for minimax mixed 0-1 fuzzy linear problems based on extending the usual rewriting of crisp minimax problems via auxiliary variables to model the maximum of a finite set of fuzzy linear functions.

An Equity-Based Optimization Model to Solve the Location Problem for Healthcare Centers Applied to Hospital Beds and COVID-19 Vaccination

TL;DR: A non-linear programming model is proposed to solve the problem of a zone-divided region requiring the localization of healthcare centers based on a coverage formula using the Gini index to measure equity and accessibility and shows that the spatial distribution influences the coverage level of the healthcare system.

A new solution approach to two-stage fuzzy location problems with risk control

TL;DR: The VaR-based two-stage fuzzy location model is transformed into a one-stage mixed-integer linear programming model, and is then solved using some standard programming techniques.

Spherical bipolar fuzzy weighted multi-facility location modeling for mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics

TL;DR: The location assignments of mobile vaccination clinics that can serve some regions of three cities in Turkey are examined and the multi-facility location problem for COVID-19 vaccination is investigated with Lagrange relaxation and modified saving heuristic algorithm.

Information Theory and Statistical Mechanics. II

TL;DR: In this article, the authors consider statistical mechanics as a form of statistical inference rather than as a physical theory, and show that the usual computational rules, starting with the determination of the partition function, are an immediate consequence of the maximum-entropy principle.

Fuzzy programming and linear programming with several objective functions

TL;DR: It is shown that solutions obtained by fuzzy linear programming are always efficient solutions and the consequences of using different ways of combining individual objective functions in order to determine an “optimal” compromise solution are shown.

Proper efficiency and the theory of vector maximization

TL;DR: In this paper, the concept of proper efficiency was introduced to eliminate efficient points of a certain anomalous nature in the problem of vector maximization, which is related in spirit to the notion of "proper" efficiency introduced by Kuhn and Tucker in their celebrated paper of 1950.

Interactive approach for multi-criterion optimization, with an application to the operation of an academic department.

TL;DR: An interactive mathematical programming approach to multi-criterion optimization is developed, and then illustrated by an application to the aggregated operating problem of an academic department.

On Fuzzy-Mathematical Programming

TL;DR: The main concern is with the application of the theory of fuzzy sets to decision problems involving fuzzy goals and strategies, etc., as defined by R. E. Bellman and L. A. Zadeh.
