gt-C 3 N 4 coordinated single atom as an efficient electrocatalyst for nitrogen reduction reaction
TL;DR: In this article, a series of transition metal (TM = Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Tc, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, and Cd) atoms supported by gt-C3N4 (TM/gt-C 3N4) are investigated as electrocatalysts for the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) based on density functional calculations.

Ammonia Synthesis over Non-Iron Catalysts and Related Phenomena
Ken-ichi Aika,Kenzi Tamara +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, various catalyst systems other than iron, which have not been applied commercially, will be reviewed, including ruthenium and rhenium, which are quite interesting as active elements which might lead to second generation ammonia catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel catalyst for ammonia synthesis at ambient temperature and pressure: Visible light responsive photocatalyst using localized surface plasmon resonance
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel catalyst for ammonia synthesis using localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) was investigated, which showed a high catalytic activity in ammonia synthesis reaction under visible light irradiation at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elucidation of a preparation method for copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 samples exhibiting extremely efficient N2-adsorption at room temperature: effect of counter ions in the exchange solution
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption of a copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 sample (CuZSM5) was examined at room temperature by measuring the FT-IR spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Photocatalytic NH3 Synthesis by NO3− Reduction over CuAg/TiO2
TL;DR: In this paper, the high efficiency and the selectivity for the ammonia synthesis by photoreduction of nitrate in the presence of methanol as a hole scavenger were investigated.

Physical Properties and Cation Arrangement of Oxides with Spinel Structures I. Cation Arrangement in Spinels
E. J. W. Verwey,E. L. Heilmann +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed x-ray study of a large number of oxides having a spinel structure was carried out, and it was established whether they crystallize in the ''normal'' spinel-type structure, XY2O4, or in the ``inversed'' type of structure, Y(XY)O4.

Activation of nitrogen by alkali metal promoted transition metal I. Ammonia synthesis over ruthenium promoted by alkali metal
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that ruthenium is remarkably promoted by the addition of alkali metal, particularly when supported by active carbon (AC) or alumina.

Interaction of nitrogen with iron surfaces: I. Fe(100) and Fe(111)
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption of N2 on clean Fe(100) and Fe(111) single-crystal surfaces was studied in the temperature range 140-1000 K by means of Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), low-energy electron diffraction (LEED), ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopic (UPS), thermal-desorption (TDS) and work-function measurements (Δφ).
