A review of dry (CO2) reforming of methane over noble metal catalysts
Devendra Pakhare,James J. Spivey +1 more
TL;DR: Dry (CO2) reforming of methane literature for catalysts based on Rh, Ru, Pt, and Pd metals is reviewed, including the effect of these noble metals on the kinetics, mechanism and deactivation of these catalysts.

Characterization of carbon deposited on Pt/alumina catalyst during reforming of liquid hydrocarbons
TL;DR: In this article, temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO), Raman spectrometry, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) are used to characterize coke species deposited on a 0.61% Pt/alumina catalyst for three reactions, carried out separately: partial oxidation (POX), steam reforming (SR), and autothermal reforming (ATR).
Journal ArticleDOI
Rh, Ni, and Ca substituted pyrochlore catalysts for dry reforming of methane
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of substitution on the La site along with Rh substitution on Zr site was compared, showing that the substitution of Ca2+ for La3+ may provide improved oxygen mobility of the catalyst, resulting in the oxidation of carbonaceous species deposited on the active sites on the catalyst during reaction.

Liquid fuel processing for hydrogen production: A review
Joongmyeon Bae,Sangho Lee,Sunyoung Kim,Jiwoo Oh,Seunghyeon Choi,Minseok Bae,Inyong Kang,Sai P. Katikaneni +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarize and discuss each liquid fuel processing technology and the kW-class reactors for converting liquid fuels into hydrogen-rich gases in a stable manner, and discuss the applications of these technologies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of reaction temperature on activity of Pt- and Ru-substituted lanthanum zirconate pyrochlores (La2Zr2O7) for dry (CO2) reforming of methane (DRM)
TL;DR: In this paper, three catalysts were tested: La2Zr2O7 [LZ] and two pyrochlores in which Zr in the B-site has been isomorphically partially substituted with (a) Ru (2.00 ǫ) and (b) Pt (3.78 ) in an on-stream time of 600 min.

Real-space multiple-scattering calculation and interpretation of x-ray-absorption near-edge structure
TL;DR: In this paper, a selfconsistent real-space multiple-scattering (RSMS) approach for calculations of x-ray-absorption near-edge structure (XANES) is presented and implemented in an ab initio code applicable to arbitrary aperiodic or periodic systems.
