New aspects of the electrochemistry of heteropolyacids: Part IV. Acidity dependent cyclic voltammetric behaviour of phosphotungstic and silicotungstic heteropolyanions in water and N,N-dimethylformamide

TL;DR: In this paper, cyclic voltammetry has been used to study the electrochemical reduction process of three heteropolyanions, two of them having the Keggin structure and the third one having a Dawson structure.

Complexation of polyoxometalates with cyclodextrins

TL;DR: The complexation between γ- and β-cyclodextrins (γ- andβ-CDs) with an archetypal polyoxometalate (POM)--namely, the [PMo12O40](3-) trianion--which has led to the formation of two organic-inorganic hybrid 2:1 complexes, namely [La(H2O)9]{[PMo 12O40]⊂[γ-CD]

Functionalized mesoporous silica films as a matrix for anchoring electrochemically active guests.

TL;DR: Electron exchange between the adjacent redox centers (electron hopping) is proposed as a possible charge propagation pathway through the insulating silica matrix, supported by the fact that the high charge uptake is observed also for the hybrid electrodes with the covalently anchored redox guests.

Activation of electrode surfaces

TL;DR: Etudes des proprietes redox de lacide silicotungstique 1:12, (SiW 12 O 40 H 11 ), utilise pour modifier et activer divers materiaux d'electrode (Pt, Au, W, carbone vitreux, etc) as mentioned in this paper.
