TLDR
The crystal structures of [M(nic) 2 (H 2 O) 4 ](sac) 2 with Co(II), Ni(II, and Zn(II) were determined at 116 K by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry as mentioned in this paper.Abstract:
The crystal structures of [M(nic) 2 (H 2 O) 4 ](sac) 2 (nic = nocotinamide; sac = saccharinate anion) with M = Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II), have been determined at 116 K by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. The compounds crystallize in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 1, and the M(II) cations present a slightly distorted MN 2 O 4 octahedral environment, with equatorially coordinated water molecules and axially pyridine N-bound nicotinamide ligands. The saccharinate anions act as counteranions, and are not part of the first coordination sphere. Some comparisons with related structures have been made and the most important features of their IR spectra discussed.read more

Metal complexes of saccharin
TL;DR: In this paper, a wide variety of metal species based on mononuclear, binuclear, polynuclear complexes and extended coordination polymers are discussed in relation to the coordination modes of the anion, i.e., monodentate (through the N-atom or the carbonylic O-atom), bidentate, tridentate or bridge forming.

TL;DR: The mixed-ligand orotato (HOr)2− complex of cobalt(II) with nicotinamide (NA) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, conductivity, spectral methods (UV-Vis and FT-IR), simultaneous TG, DTG, DTA techniques and X-ray diffraction.

EPR study of Cu2+-doped tetraaqua-di(nicotinamide)Co(II) saccharinate single crystals
TL;DR: The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of Cu(2+) impurities in [Co(nicotinamide)(2)(H(2)O)(4)](saccharinate)(2) single crystals have been studied at ambient temperature in three mutually perpendicular planes and the angular variation of the spectra shows that the Cu( 2+) ion substitutes the Co(2%) site in the lattice.
