Susy guts: 4 - guts: 3

TL;DR: In this article, a supersymmetric SU(5) model with the following properties is constructed: (1) sin2θW, mb/mτ in accordance with experiment; (2) natural monopole suppression and universal baryon asymmetry generation; and (3) proton decay at a rate 1031 yr with characteristic decay modes according to Γ( ν μ K +,μ + K 0 ):Γ(ν e K 0,e + K0, ν e π + )⋍1: sin

Discrete Quantum Mechanics

TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive review of the discrete quantum mechanics with the pure imaginary shifts and the real shifts is presented in parallel with corresponding results in the ordinary quantum mechanics, the main subjects to be covered are the factorised Hamiltonians, the general structure of the solution spaces of the Schroedinger equation (Crum's theorem and its modification), shape invariance, the exact solvability in the Schröter picture as well as in the Heisenberg picture, the creation/annihilation operators and the dynamical symmetry algebras, the unified theory of exact and quasi

Status of weak scale supersymmetry after LHC Run 2 and ton-scale noble liquid WIMP searches

TL;DR: For the case of weak scale supersymmetry (SUSY), which is touted as a simple and elegant solution to the gauge hierarchy problem and likely low energy limit of compactified string theory, LHC has found rather generally that gluinos are beyond about 2.2 TeV whilst top squark must lie beyond 1.1 TeV as mentioned in this paper.

Rare kaon decays

TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive review of the current theoretical and experimental status of rare kaon decays is presented, with a discussion of alternative theoretical frameworks that could modify the Standard Model predictions.

TeV γ-radiation from Dark Matter annihilation in the Galactic center

TL;DR: In this article, the observed energy spectrum and angular distribution of the excess could be explained by a massive Dark Matter candidate with a minimum mass of 12 TeV (90% c.l.) and an upper limit on the WIMP density for r 10 pc of ( 1261 M ⊙ pc −3 ) ( 〈 σ v 〉 / ( 3 × 10 −26 cm 3 s −1 ) ) − 1 / 2.

Chiral-symmetry breakdown in large-N chromodynamics

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in the limit of a large number of colors, under reasonable assumptions, this symmetry group must spontaneously break down to diagonal σ(n) under chiral conditions.

On constrained instantons

TL;DR: In this article, a simple method is presented for doing systematic constrained instanton calculations in models such as φ4 or Higgs theories where the presence of a mass term prevents the existence of a classical solution.
