TLDR
In this article, general conditions for dynamical supersymmetry breaking are discussed and examples are given (in 0 + 1 and 2 + 1 dimensions) in which such a program in four dimensions is possible.

Supersymmetry Breaking and Gauge Mediation

TL;DR: A review of supersymmetry breaking and gauge mediation can be found in this paper, where the authors discuss phenomenological constraints and their solutions, paying particular attention to gaugino masses and electroweak symmetry breaking.

Infrared fixed point solution for the top quark mass and unification of couplings in the MSSM

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the implications of the infrared quasi fixed point solution for the top quark mass in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSM) and showed that the solution could explain in a natural way the relatively large value of the top qark mass and, if confirmed experimentally, may be suggestive of the onset of nonperturbative physics at very high energy scales.

Renormalization group equations for softly broken supersymmetry: The most general case

TL;DR: The renormalization group equations for the most general gauge theory with softly broken supersymmetry were derived in this paper for the case of spontaneously broken supergravity, and the results exhibit new features which are important when applied to models which go beyond the simplest standard model with minimal particle content.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anomalous behaviour of the witten index-exactly soluble models

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the behavior of the regulated Witten index in exactly soluble models and demonstrate that when the spectrum of the theory contains discrete states as well as a continuum, the index is β-dependent.

A new proof of the positive energy theorem

TL;DR: In this article, a new proof of the positive energy theorem of classical general relativity was given and it was shown that there are no asymptotically Euclidean gravitational instantons.

Recent Developments in Gauge Theories

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a survey of recent developments on non-perturbative gauge fields by some of the leading experts and innovators in this field, including the Cargese Institute on "Recent Developments on Gauge Theories".

Chiral-symmetry breakdown in large-N chromodynamics

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in the limit of a large number of colors, under reasonable assumptions, this symmetry group must spontaneously break down to diagonal σ(n) under chiral conditions.

On constrained instantons

TL;DR: In this article, a simple method is presented for doing systematic constrained instanton calculations in models such as φ4 or Higgs theories where the presence of a mass term prevents the existence of a classical solution.
