Fluorescence microscope examination of bacteria in soil.
TLDR
By the staining of soil with the fluorescent dye acridinorange and examination of the stained soil under the fluorescence microscope, it is possible to observe directly the living bacteria of soil in their autochthonic condition.Abstract:

A Modifying Impact of Temperature on Bacteria Response to Soil Treatment with Fungicides
TL;DR: In this paper, the action of the fungicides Impact Super and Mirage on soil microorganisms at temperatures of 10°C and 25°C has been studied and it has been shown that the reduction of fungi occurrence was accompanied by proliferation of copiotrophic bacteria, especially of fluorescent pseudomonads.

TL;DR: The Mikrobiologie des Bodens as mentioned in this paper is eine auserst kompliziert zusammengesetzte Bevolkerung of lebenden Organismen, deren Lebensvorgange dazu beitragen, den biologischen Stoffkreislauf im Gange zu halten and so den Boden zu einem geeigneten Standort fur die hoheren Pflanzen zu machen.
