Vibration analysis of new Galata Bridge-experimental and numerical results
TL;DR: In this article, the results of experimental stress and vibration studies on one of the flaps are given after the damages are repaired, and the first natural frequency, higher resonance frequencies and corresponding mode shapes have been obtained by using finite element method and results compared with experiment measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancing the teaching of structural dynamics using additive manufacturing
TL;DR: In this article, a related set of structural plane frames is investigated in terms of their natural frequencies, perhaps the fundamental feature in structural dynamics, and a 3D printer is used to provide a variety of parameter variations.
Synthesis and survey of control laws for large flexible spacecraft
L. M. Van Woerkom,Mita Press +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a non-negligible interaction between control and structural deformation in a spacecraft, and the interaction problem is schematized in terms of spillover between design model and residual model of the spacecraft dynamics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Lamination Pressure upon the Stiffness of Laminated Rotor

Journal ArticleDOI
Vibration Modeling of Arc-Based Cantilevers for Energy Harvesting Applications
TL;DR: In this article, an analytical out-of-plane vibration model for standalone arc-based cantilever beams was developed that includes provisions for shear and rotary inertia, multidirectional arcs, and multiple layers.
