Zeolite-modified microcantilever gas sensor for indoor air quality control
Jia Zhou,Jia Zhou,Po Li,Song Zhang,Yingcai Long,Feng Zhou,Yiping Huang,Pengyuan Yang,Minhang Bao +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a freon gas sensor of piezoelectric microcantilever coated with zeolite has been developed to control indoor air quality, which can detect the concentration of sample freon-12 gas ranged from 0 to 100 ppm by the effect of specific MFI zeolites modification.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stability study and control methods for small-wattage high-intensity-discharge (HID) lamps
TL;DR: In this paper, a lamp stability study based on a simplified theory on acoustic resonance frequency distribution in a small-wattage metal-halide (MH) lamp is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modeling and Simulation of Airship Dynamics
Yuwen Li,Meyer Nahon +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a modeling approach for the nonlinear dynamics simulation of airships is proposed, where the flight mechanics, aerostatics, and aerodynamics are incorporated into the model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fast Fourier nonlinear vibration analysis
TL;DR: In this paper, an implementation of the multi-harmonic balance method (MHB) where intensive use of the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm (FFT) is made at all stages of calculations is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of fatigue cracks from vibration testing
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of crack closure on the frequency changes of cracked cantilever beams was investigated by using both computer simulations and experimental modal analysis, and the results showed that, relying on the drop in the natural frequencies alone, especially the higher modes, may lead to serious underestimation of the crack severity.
