TLDR
The next generation of positioning models for positioning and data processing will depend on the design of the satellite itself, as well as on the satellite orbits it is placed in.

Bayesian filtering for automotive applications

TL;DR: This thesis presents and evaluates a self-localization solution based on a set of automotive off-the-shelf sensors together with a map that contains lane markings and a simplistic description of radar landmarks and shows that this map, in combination with real radar data, provides valuable information to the localization algorithm.

Stochastic Modeling of Galileo E1 and E5a Signals

TL;DR: In this paper, the stochastic characteristics of the legacy GPS P1 code were obtained and then used to verify the developed stochastastic model of the Galileo signal, which improved the accuracy of precise point positioning solution and its convergence time.

An Approach to Assess the Safety of ADS-B-based Unmanned Aerial Systems: Data Integrity as a Safety Issue

TL;DR: A qualitative approach to assess safety when using ADS-B systems integrated with UASs in aeronautical operations considering the influence of data integrity as a safety-related parameter is presented and a new testing platform is presented as a possible approach.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Real-Time landslide monitoring using single-frequency PPP: Proof of concept

TL;DR: The general structure of a GPS-based landslide monitoring system is described and aspects of the used Precise Point Positioning (PPP) approach are discussed.

Mapping equatorial ionospheric profiles over peninsular Malaysia using gps tomography

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the GPS ionospheric tomography module to reconstruct the electron density profile over Peninsular Malaysia using Global Positioning System (GPS) ionosphere tomography method.
