TLDR
The next generation of positioning models for positioning and data processing will depend on the design of the satellite itself, as well as on the satellite orbits it is placed in.Citations

Influencing Factors of GNSS Differential Inter-System Bias and Performance Assessment of Tightly Combined GPS, Galileo, and QZSS Relative Positioning for Short Baseline
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of between-receiver differential inter-system bias (DISB) between overlapping frequencies of the Global Positioning System (GPS), Galileo and the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) is investigated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Hybrid indoor localization using GSM fingerprints, embedded sensors and a particle filter
TL;DR: An indoor localization scheme for mobile devices based on GSM Received Signal Strength fingerprints combined with embedded sensor information and an area site map is presented, demonstrating that a standard handset with cellular network access and embedded inertial sensors can provide a good solution for indoor localization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Klobuchar and nequick g ionospheric models comparison for multi-gnss single-frequency code point positioning in the brazilian region
TL;DR: A comparison between these two models in multi-GNSS (GPS and Galileo) single frequency point positioning, considering two Brazilian stations at different magnetic latitudes, and covered months of weak and strong ionospheric activity from 2013 to 2018 indicates a better performance of NeQuick G model compared to the Klobuchar.
Book ChapterDOI
Basic Navigational Mathematics, Reference Frames and the Earth’s Geometry
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review some of the basic mathematical techniques for the transformation of coordinates between the reference frames and the corresponding coordinates between them, and show that measured quantities are required to be transformed between various reference frames during the solution of navigation equations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparing GPS positioning errors derived from GAMIT/GLOBK and Bernese GNSS software packages: A case study in CORS-TR in Turkey
TL;DR: This contribution investigates the relationship between the FE and RMS error of Global Positioning System (GPS) positioning for GAMIT/GLOBK and Bernese software packages and shows a linear relationship exists between the average of seven days FEs and the RMS errors for both software packages.
