TLDR
In this paper, it was shown that the 2-d coset models SU(p + 1)N/SU(p)N ⊗ U(1) provide unitary representations of the chiral operator algebra W∞ in the large level (N → ∞) limit, with central charge c = 2p.
Abstract
It is shown that the 2 – d coset models SU(p + 1)N/SU(p)N ⊗ U(1) provide unitary representations of the chiral operator algebra W∞ in the large level (N → ∞) limit, with central charge c = 2p. For p ≥ 2, the corresponding field theories possess additional symmetries which given rise to a U(p) matrix generalization of W∞, denoted by $W_\infty^p$. Its commutation relations are obtained in closed form for all values of p and W∞ is identified with the U(1) trace part of $W_\infty^p$. It is also shown that $W_\infty^p$ at large p is associated with the algebra of symplectic diffeomorphisms in four dimensions.

W symmetry in conformal field theory

TL;DR: In this article, the authors review various aspects of W algebra symmetry in two-dimensional conformal field theory and string theory and pay particular attention to the construction of W algebras through the quantum Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction and through the coset construction.

Emergent Spacetime and Holographic CFTs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss universal properties of conformal field theories with holographic duals and argue that these operators are naturally represented as fields in AdS as this makes the underlying linearity of the system manifest.

Coset Realization of Unifying { w} Algebras

TL;DR: The quantum coset algebras of as discussed by the authors are finitely non-freely generated quantum cosets, i.e., they are coset realizations of cosets of coset pairs.

The structure of the W ∞ algebra

TL;DR: The structure constants of the leading (highest spin) linear terms in the commutation relations of the conformal chiral operator algebraW∞ are identical to those of the Diff0+ ℝ2 algebra generated by area preserving diffeomorphisms of the plane.

Product CFTs, gravitational cloning, massive gravitons and the space of gravitational duals

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that multi-graviton theories can be obtained from products of large-N CFTs by coupling multiple trace marginal or relevant perturbations, and the geometrical structure of the gravitational duals of such theories is that of product manifolds with their boundaries identified.

Self-duality and n=2 string magic

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider strings with an N = 2 local superconformal symmetry on the worldsheet and show that a Kahler function giving rise to self-dual gravity is the only physical degree of freedom of this theory.

Bosonic realization of a universal W-algebra and Z∞ parafermions

TL;DR: In this article, a field theoretic representation of the universal W-algebra proposed by Pope, Romans and Shen, using a free complex boson in two dimensions, has been constructed, and the resulting symmetry algebra is generated by conformal fields with spin 2,3,4, and central chanrge c = 2.
