ICPEMC working paper 4/2 extrapolations from species to species and from various cell types in assessing risks from chemical mutagens

TLDR
In this article, the authors use extrapolations of dose: mutation ratios in other species to estimate human mutation frequencies, based on extrapolation of dose-dependent mutation ratios of other species.
Abstract
Strategies for estimating human mutation frequencies can be based on extrapolations of dose: mutation ratios in other species.

Interpreting human genetic variation with in vivo zebrafish assays.

TL;DR: This article will review the use of this model organism in dissecting human genetic disorders; how diverse strategies have informed disease causality and genetic architecture are highlighted; and relative strengths and limitations of these approaches in the context of medical genome sequencing are discussed.

Specific-locus test shows ethylnitrosourea to be the most potent mutagen in the mouse

TL;DR: Use of the specific-locus test to measure the frequency of transmitted gene mutations induced in mouse spermatogonia has shown ethylnitrosourea to be by far the most potent mutagen yet discovered in the mouse.
