TLDR
In this paper, the size and shape of the associates of sodium Cu-phthalocyanine-tetrasulfonate have been investigated in aqueous solutions by means of small-angle X-ray scattering.
Abstract
The size and shape of the associates of sodium Cu-phthalocyanine-tetrasulfonate have been investigated in aqueous solutions by means of small-angle X-ray scattering. Concentration, salt content, and temperature were varied. The smallest associates found consist of 2 molecules, the largest of more than 20 molecules. We propose oblique piles of different height for the shape of the associates. The heat of association has been estimated from the temperature dependence of the scattering curves.

A Direct Comparison of the Aggregation Behavior of Phthalocyanines and 2,3-Naphthalocyanines

TL;DR: In this article, the visible spectra of octakis(3,6-dioxa-1-decylthio) naphthalocyanine 7 have been recorded in THF with different concentrations and the data have been analyzed using a nonlinear least-squares fitting procedure.

TL;DR: The biophysical characterization of SiaA will significantly advance the understanding of structure-function relationships in HBP and suggest that the heme is six-coordinate and low-spin in both oxidation states of the protein, with methionine and histidine as axial ligands.

Thermodynamic Analysis of Multicomponent Solutions

TL;DR: This chapter discusses thermodynamic analysis of multicomponent solutions, where there are several diffusible and several nondiffusible solutes, but the relative amounts of the latter are kept unchanged as their total concentration is altered at constant potential of nondIFFusible components.

Absolute intensity measurement of small angle x-ray scattering by means of a standard sample

TL;DR: In this paper, the change of the scattered intensity of the Lupolen platelets with temperature is investigated and a relationship between temperature and the scattered spectrum intensity is given for the temperature range between 4°C and 30°C.

Reversible association processes of globular proteins. I. Insulin.

TL;DR: Evidence is presented for the presence of aggregates as high as the pentamer, and the dissociation curves may be fitted best with stepwise constants.
