A simple Ka-band Y-circulator is presented, fabricated according to integrated waveguide technology (INWATE). The performance is as follows: 20 dB isolation bandwidth of 20%, and return loss and insertion loss about 20 dB and 0.5 dB, respectively. This type of circulator seems to be well suited to form part of future INWATE circuits.read more

Low Loss Ferrite Y-Junction Circulator Based on Empty Substrate Integrated Coaxial Line at Ku-Band
TL;DR: In this paper, a ferrite-based circulator has been designed and fabricated to operate at a central frequency of 12 GHz and the experimental results confirm the results obtained by the full wave simulations: insertion loss better than −1 dB isolation and return loss below −10 dB from 10 to 14 GHz.

Monolithic dielectric filters in integrated waveguide technology
TL;DR: In this article, a method to design monolithic dielectric filters (MDFs) for achieving new levels of performance was proposed, which consists of a high-permittivity Dielectric slab placed in a waveguide below cutoff loaded with low-permitivity dielectrics slabs.

The identification of modal resonances in ferrite loaded waveguide Y-junctions and their adjustment for circulation
TL;DR: In this paper, extensive eigenvalue measurements made on an X-band waveguide Y-junction containing different ferrite geometries were used to identify the principal field modes involved, examine their sensitivities to various junction parameters, and arrange their correct displacement for circulation.

Design Data for Radial-Waveguide Circulators Using Partial-Height Ferrite Resonators
J. Helszajn,F.C. Tan +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the eigennetworks of radial-waveguide circulators using partial-height ferrite resonators with n=2 Chebyshev characteristics were derived. But the phase angles were not derived.

Waveguides for Microwave Integrated Circuits
TL;DR: In this paper, a new integrated fabrication process for microwave circuits is presented basing on waveguides as transmission lines, which are manufactured by heating up a thermo-plastic dielectric rectangular strip on a metal plate until it begins to flow and assumes the desired cross-section.
