Magnetic properties of In3+ and Cr3+ substituted Mg–Mn ferrites

In this article, two series of magnesium-manganese ferrites, viz., Mg 0.9 Mn 0.1 Cr y Fe 2− y O 4 have been prepared using conventional ceramic technique, and the magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization (M s ), Curie temperature (T c ), initial permeability ( μ i ), and magnetic loss factor (tan ǫ ), of the above series of samples are presented.

Determination of initial magnetization curve from crystallites size and effective anisotropy field

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in YIG the magnetization in low fields is due to the same mechanisms for the whole temperature range to the Curie point, and that at a given temperature the magnetisation curves for different samples can be reduced to a single curve by taking into account the grain size.
