TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the hexagonal compound TbCr 6 Ge 6 (P6/mmm ) is a partly disordered derivative of the HfFe 6 Ge6 -type structure where a part of the Tb atoms at 1(a) (0,0, 0) and a part the Ge 3 atoms at 2(e) ( 0,0 0, 0.347) populate intermediate lattice positions which are shifted by c /2.
