TLDR
In this article, the magnetic phase diagram is constructed above 0.6 K for single crystalline Ce x La 1-x B 6 (0.03 ≦ x ≦ 1.0).Abstract:
Measurements of the magnetization process at 4.2 K and 1.3 K for magnetic field up to about 150 kOe and of the temperature dependence of the susceptibility between 4.2 K and room temperature have been done in order to investigate Kondo states of dilute and dense Kondo system in single crystalline Ce x La 1- x B 6 (0.03 ≦ x ≦1.0). The magnetic phase diagram is constructed above 0.6 K for Ce 0.5 La 0.5 B 6 , Ce 0.75 La 0.25 B 6 and CeB 6 . A largely anisotropic magnetization and the temperature dependence of susceptibility in dilute alloys indicate the \(\varGamma _{8}\) quartet Kondo state contrary to the previous report. Dependence of Kondo temperature on the Ce concentration is very weak.read more

Magnetic-Field Effects on Quadrupolar Ordering in a Γ8-Quartet System CeB6
TL;DR: In this article, a theory of the antiferro-quadrupolar ordering in CeB 6 is developed in the framework of the Γ 8 -quartet basis, and possible ordered phases under the external magnetic field are classified in terms of their symmetry properties, and the relations between quadrupolar order parameters and field-induced moments are established.

Probing bulk states of correlated electron systems by high-resolution resonance photoemission
TL;DR: The determination of the bulk Ce 4f electronic states of these compounds resolves differences, and the power of this technique is demonstrated by applying it to the cerium compounds CeRu2Si2 and CeRu 2.

Multipole Orders and Fluctuations in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems
TL;DR: In this article, the authors review experimental and theoretical results on higher electronic multipoles in solids with strong correlations and demonstrate how linear and nonlinear couplings of different multipoles lead to rich phase diagrams and anomalies in physical observables.

Some exact results for dilute mixed-valent and heavy-fermion systems
TL;DR: In this article, the degenerate Anderson model is used to obtain exact results for magnetic impurities in simple metals, in particular in the presence of mechanisms lifting the degeneracy of the f-level, e.g. crystalline fields, spin-orbit coupling and the magnetic field.

A New Interpretation of NMR in Quadrupolar Ordering Phase of CeB6 - Consistency with Neutron Scattering -
TL;DR: In this paper, the hyperfine coupling between the multipolar moments of the Ce ion and the nucleus of B ion is discussed phenomenologically for the antiferro-quadrupolar ordering (AFQ) phase of CeB 6.

Magnetic Susceptibility and Specific Heat of the Coqblin-Schrieffer Model
TL;DR: In this article, the exact thermodynamic equations of the Coqblin-Schrieffer model were solved in the scaling regime and the impurity susceptibility and specific heat curves were obtained as a function of temperature for zero field and for impurity spin.
