Magnetic properties of six-coordinated high-spin cobalt(II) complexes: Theoretical background and its application

TLDR
In this paper, an empirical expression to fit the magnetic susceptibility of polycrystalline samples of mononuclear Co(II) complexes with an axial distortion, the variable parameters being Δ (axial distortion), α (orbital reduction factor), and λ (spin-orbit coupling), was proposed.

Field-Induced Slow Magnetic Relaxation in a Six-Coordinate Mononuclear Cobalt(II) Complex with a Positive Anisotropy

TL;DR: Slow magnetic relaxation effects were observed for 1 in the presence of a dc magnetic field, constituting the first example of field-induced single-molecule magnet behavior in a mononuclear six-coordinate Co(II) complex with a transverse anisotropy energy barrier.

Molecular magnetism, quo vadis? A historical perspective from a coordination chemist viewpoint☆

TL;DR: Molecular magnetism has travelled a long way from the pioneering studies on electron exchange and double exchange or spin crossover and valence tautomerism in small oligonuclear complexes, from mono-to di-and tetranuclear species, to the current investigations about magnetic anisotropy and spin dynamics or quantum coherence of simple mono- or large polynuclear complexes.

Cobalt electrolyte/dye interactions in dye-sensitized solar cells: a combined computational and experimental study.

TL;DR: An experimental and computational investigation to understand the nature of the interactions between cobalt redox mediators and TiO(2) surfaces sensitized by ruthenium and organic dyes, and their impact on the performance of the corresponding dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs).

Magnetic bistability in a metal-ion cluster

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the magnetization of the Mn12 cluster is highly anisotropic and the magnetisation relaxation time becomes very long below a temperature of 4 K, giving rise to pronounced hysteresis.

The Theory of Transition-Metal Ions

TL;DR: In this paper, the strong-filed coupling scheme was proposed to overcome the weak-field coupling scheme in paramagnetic resonance, which was shown to be effective in the case of free atoms and ions.
